Last days of summer
Well, the weather has officially turned to autumn here this week. My summer clothes have (mostly) all been packed away and jumpers the are out. But before the weather changed we got one last taste of summer.
Shirt: H&M
Top: Primark
Skirt: Fat Face
Necklace: H&M
Cardi: Topshop
Shirt: H&M
Vest top: Miss Selfridge
Leggings: Topshop
Shoes: New Look

Yeah I'm a little bit obsessed with denim shirts, and shirts in general, at the moment. I blame Pinterest! Also I'm aware I said it was the last of the warm weather and that two of the outfits contain scarfs, but although the days were hot the morning have been a lot colder.

2. Bronze nail varnish- Barry M
3. Nail top coat- Miss Sporty

8. Sleeveless bird print shirt- Apricot
9. Jumper- H&M
10. Grey jeans- Primark

Make up your mind
So the weather is still playing silly buggers, which is playing havoc with my attempts to get dressed in the morning! One day its cold and you need jumpers and long slivers, and the next its 22 degrees and summer clothes weather, some mornings its sunny and then by 11am its chucking it down with rain. This means the outfits from the last few days are mostly based on layering and not really knowing what the hell's going on.
Scarf: Primark
Cardi: H&M
Top: Gap
Shorts: Hollister
Belt: Topshop
Tights: M&S
Shoes: Converse
Cardi: Same as above
Top: Miss Selfridge
Scarf: Work
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: Converse
Cardi: Hollister
Top: New Look
Jeggings: Forever 21 via eBay
Shoes: Converse
Necklace: Dorothy Perkins or Topshop I think
The middle one of these three is my favourite outfit. I don't really like the last one. All of these are work outfits, which means there not the height of fashion or massively exciting. Hopefully once I'm back at uni I'll have more chance to wear my nice clothes again!

Autumn
Ok, so it's not actually autumn yet (although seeing as we still haven't had a proper summer this could actually be spring), but autumn/ winter clothing is in the shops already. This is kinda a problem for me because the rust, navy, dark green colours are my favourite and when you're trying to save money it's kinda hard when you want to buy everything. My latest H&M purchase is an example of this.
I have one of these jumpers in a blue and white stripe from about 4 years ago, and when I saw this one I had to get it. I think this might become my most warn jumper this winter!
Jumper: H&M

I'm Blue
Da ba de, da ba dah (shut up that was an amazing song in the 90s).
Anyway, I needed a quick nail design and as I apparently have an obsession with blue at the moment it seemed fitting.

Outfits From the Last Few Days
I'm reverting to taking photos with my phone, rather than with my camera. It's completely down to laziness, but it's just so much easier to take a picture on my phone and then its there, either on my computer ready or on my phone to post. It might make me a bit better at updating as well!
So, here's what I've been wearing for the last few days. You can probably tell from the pictures that the weather finally got a bit warmer (Although I think it's meant to return to rain today).

Crackle
New nails! I've had this Models Own crackly nail varnish for ages, but have never been able to think of a way to wear it.
Two coats of Rimmel Nail Rescue for a base, then from left to right:
Barry M in Berry, Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Apricot Punch, Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Sunshine, Rimmel Lycra Pro in Peppermint and Barry M in Matt White. Once all that was dry I did a coat of Models Own Smash-up Black for the cracking.

Quick Sunny Day Outfit
The sun actually shone all day today, not one drop of rain! This meant I could actually wear my sandals!

Jeans: River Island
Sandals: Clarks
Belt: Topshop

Aztec
Another work day, another jeans and t-shirt combo. It does feature my new snood from Primarni though which makes it slightly more interesting. Is buying a scarf to match a ring a little crazy? Or justifiable when you collect scarfs/wear them daily?
Top: Primark
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: Converse
Ring: Nothing (not pictured, but it's the triangular one I've worn before)
Belt: Primark

Grey
The sun was shinning for a couple of hours today, but by the time I was actually going out it was throwing it down (again). It's getting boring now. I'm going to have to take all of my summer clothes on holiday just so I have a chance to wear them this sumer!

Today I finally worked out how I could wear the shirt I got from eBay last month. I'm aware I'm wearing a jumper in July, that would be because England sucks and we've had rain and nothing above 20 degrees for the last two months!
Shirt- Fat Face (Via eBay)
Jeans- Topshop
Scarf- Miss Selfridge
Jumper- H&M
Shoes- Converse
Ring- not sure (Miss Selfridge maybe)

Shit That I Have Brought: Month One
I have an addiction to buying things, which would be fine if I was a millionaire, but as I'm not I need to try and get a handle on it before it gets ridiculous. Luckily I tend to prefer Primark and Poundland to anything even slightly expensive (Topshop) so it could be worse.
I've decided to start making a note of everything, not necessary (coffee is necessary) I buy in a month to see if it can shame me in to curbing my spending and saving some money. If it works it means I'll be able to afford the trip I'm starting to plan for next year without having to worry. If I can't I may have to try to find a way to make some extra money.
So, after that long introduction here is month one of Shit That I Have Brought:
1. Ring- Nothing
2.Grey cropped leggings- Primark
3. Black cardi- Primark
4. Shirt- Fat Face (via eBay)
5. Weekend bag- Primark
6. Make-up bag- Pound Land
7. Miss Sporty Lipstick- Pound Land
8. Black Flats- Primark
9. Two pairs of sunglasses- new look
10. 17 BB cream-Boots
11. 17 Bronzer-Boots
12. 17 Powder Brush-Boots
13. Free 17 festival kit (note the free, which means I didn't buy it. So really it doesn't count).
14. Flip Flops- White Stuff
15. Gilet- Joules
I was going to post pictures of everything, or one big picture, but I've already started wearing things and keep forgetting to do it when I have good light. I did manage to get pictures of the 17 festival kit thought, because I wanted to show you what's inside.
There's an eyeliner, nail varnish and an instant tanner. The nail varnish and the eye liner are both really good, I've already worn both and love them. The tanner on the other hand I'm not a fan of. It left no colour what so ever on my legs, and I'm pale. It's not like I'm a big tanner either. I don't really do the whole fake tan thing unless I'm going on holiday, and even then I use a gradual tanning moisturiser, rather than fake tan. If it had left a bit of colour I would of been happy, but nope, nothing. It's a shame really, because I love the other two products and think they work really well. The eye pencil goes on smoothly and stays all day without running or smudging and the nails varnish gives a good coverage with only 2 coats and is a really nice summery colour.
You can't really tell from the picture, but there are tiny specs of gold glitter through the nail varnish. It doesn't give it a sheen but just gives it a nice sparkle when it catches the light.

Outfits from my Phone
The last two days I've only had a chance to grab a quick outfit picture with my phone. It means there slightly less detailed, and the colours off, but I can blog them on the bus to work! (I'm so sad that I find that cool. I have no idea what this post will look like either because there's no preview button on the blogger app)

Dinner out
Friday I had work and then went out for dinner in the evening, that meant two outfits. (well it actually meant trying on about 20 different things until I was happy because the weather had gone back to being rubbish, meaning the max dress I'd planned to wear wasn't going to work.)
I forgot to take any pictures of my work outfit, but as it was just jeans, a T-shirt and a cardi its not really that much of a loss. For my dinner outfit I finally settled on jeans, a nice top and a jacket. (Please excuse the terrible quality of this photo, it was taken in a rush)

Red and Black
When I don't wear something for a while I tend to forget I own it. My top today is one of those items.
When I first got this top I thought it fit funny so I didn't really wear it, which was annoying as it cost more than I'm normally willing to spend on clothes. Now I think it's really nice I just always forget that it actually looks nice. Is it just me that judges clothes like that? Or keeps clothes even after months of thinking they don't look quite right, just because you like them?

Day off
I didn't actually get dressed until 6pm, and that was only because I was going out, which means my days outfit really wasn't all the inspiring. I did wear my Toy Story t-shirt though which basically means I couldn't have looked cooler.

The Weekend (and Monday)
Fail. I haven't done a very good job of posting this weekend have I. This was going to be a weekend round up post, but as it's now Monday night I might as well include today as well. As I've been working every one of the last four days the outfits aren't very special or inventive.
Friday
Saturday
There's no picture of what I wore on Saturday because I forgot to take one. It's a shame really as it's one of the few outfits that I actually wore somewhere other than work. (Well I did ware it to work, but I went straight out for drinks after with only a change of shoes to make it slightly more presentable.)

Friday
Cardi: Primark
Top: New Look
Snood: Miss Selfridge (I love it, it has gold flecks through
it and little sequins along the hem)

Cardi: Zara
Scarf: Greece
Top and Jeans: River Island
A late night Saturday and an early start Sunday meant wearing anything other than jeans and a top was completely beyond me. Red Bull and coffee were consumed it rather large quantities.
Monday
The sun's out and the weather men predict the temperature will reach 20 degrees! I wore my max skirt again. I love it. I really need to try and find some more. It's so comfy and flattering. And if I ware it to a BBQ I can put leggings underneath when it gets colder and no-one would know.
