I'm Blue

Da ba de, da ba dah (shut up that was an amazing song in the 90s).

Anyway, I needed a quick nail design and as I apparently have an obsession with blue at the moment it seemed fitting.

Base coat: Rimmel Nail Rescue

Blue: Barry M in Cyan Blue

Glitter: Barry M Blue Glitter

Topcoat: Miss Sporty Nail Expert Manicure for Glossy Nails

Olympic nails

Having spent the weeks before Olympics really not careing (I was even out of the country for the opening ceremony), I've started getting in to the Olympics. And what better way to get in to it than to do some Olympic nails.

The varnished used are:
For the union jack
- Barry M red glitter No. 150
- Barry M in Matt White
- Rimmel 60 Seconds in Red Carpet
- Navy Blue Sharpie

For the other nails:
- Barry M in Gold Foil Effect
- Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Your Majesty
- Barry M in Copper (not pictured because I brought it they say after and. changed the nails a little)

Crackle

New nails! I've had this Models Own crackly nail varnish for ages, but have never been able to think of a way to wear it.

Two coats of Rimmel Nail Rescue for a base, then from left to right:

Barry M in Berry, Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Apricot Punch, Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Sunshine, Rimmel Lycra Pro in Peppermint and Barry M in Matt White. Once all that was dry I did a coat of Models Own Smash-up Black for the cracking.

A quick nail update

These were my attempt at tribal nails that I did Friday night. To do them I used:

-Two coats of Barry M in Matt White

-Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Fruities in Apricot Punch

-Rimmel Lycra Pro in Peppermint

-Models Own nail art pen in black 

Clothes and Nails

A double whammy today folks (that is if I get my nails finished before I post this) today's outfit and my new nails!

I got this maxi skirt for my birthday (April) and have worn it once since then. I love it, the weather has just been so bad I haven't been able to. As today was the last day of good weather for another few weeks I decided I had to get another wear out of it while I had the chance.

Mint and White nails

As I haven't managed to put on anything remotely acceptable for public viewing today allow me to show you whats on my nails at the moment instead.

I used two coats of Rimmel Nail Rescue, then two coats of Rimmel Lycra Pro in Peppermint for the base. The white details are done using a Models Own nail art pen in white, and the glitter on my thumbs is Rimmel Crack Your Colour in Disco Gold. All this was finished off with two coats of a Markwins quick dry top coat that I got as part of a french manicure set for Christmas.
