Red and Black

When I don't wear something for a while I tend to forget I own it. My top today is one of those items.

Top: Fred Perry
Jeans: Topshop
Scarf: work
Cardi: H&M
Shoes: Converse

Earings: Accessorize
Bracelets: Dorothy Perkins and Asos

When I first got this top I thought it fit funny so I didn't really wear it, which was annoying as it cost more than I'm normally willing to spend on clothes. Now I think it's really nice I just always forget that it actually looks nice. Is it just me that judges clothes like that? Or keeps clothes even after months of thinking they don't look quite right, just because you like them?

Day off

I didn't actually get dressed until 6pm, and that was only because I was going out, which means my days outfit really wasn't all the inspiring. I did wear my Toy Story t-shirt though which basically means I couldn't have looked cooler.

The Weekend (and Monday)

Fail. I haven't done a very good job of posting this weekend have I. This was going to be a weekend round up post, but as it's now Monday night I might as well include today as well. As I've been working every one of the last four days the outfits aren't very special or inventive.

Friday

Cardi: Primark
Top: New Look
Snood: Miss Selfridge (I love it, it has gold flecks through
it and little sequins along the hem)
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: Converse

Earrings: Clair's Accessories
Bracelet: ASOS

Saturday
There's no picture of what I wore on Saturday because I forgot to take one. It's a shame really as it's one of the few outfits that I actually wore somewhere other than work. (Well I did ware it to work, but I went straight out for drinks after with only a change of shoes to make it slightly more presentable.)

Sunday

Cardi: Zara
Scarf: Greece
Top and Jeans: River Island

A late night Saturday and an early start Sunday meant wearing anything other than jeans and a top was completely beyond me. Red Bull and coffee were consumed it rather large quantities.

Monday
The sun's out and the weather men predict the temperature will reach 20 degrees! I wore my max skirt again. I love it. I really need to try and find some more. It's so comfy and flattering. And if I ware it to a BBQ I can put leggings underneath when it gets colder and no-one would know.

Jacket: H&M
T-shirt: Primark
Skirt: Fat Face
Belt: Topshop
Necklace: eBay

Raining Again

Well the sun didn't last long. Today's been sunshine and showers, and not as hot as it had been the last two days. This means, although its my day off, I'm still in jeans.

Top: H&M
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Tomms
Cardi: my work

Necklace: really can't remember,
possibly Miss Selfridge or Dorothy Perkins.
Ring: Nothing

Clothes and Nails

A double whammy today folks (that is if I get my nails finished before I post this) today's outfit and my new nails!

I got this maxi skirt for my birthday (April) and have worn it once since then. I love it, the weather has just been so bad I haven't been able to. As today was the last day of good weather for another few weeks I decided I had to get another wear out of it while I had the chance.

Top: Dorothy Perkins
Shirt: Fat face
Sandles: Clarks
Grey Cardi: H&M

Bracelets: 31 Bits
Necklace: Fat Face

There finished! Here's my new nails as well.

(This photo makes it look like I have really shiny fingers, I don't)

OMG is that the sun!

For the last month in England we've had rain every single day. It's been gross. Today though we have sun and a whole 20 degrees!  Ok so it's not as hot as I would like, and it's only meant to last till Thursday, but dam it I'm going to take advantage of the only 2 days of summer we're gonna get.

Unfortunately I'm at work, so I can't wear any of the summer dresses I have, or my shorts, but never mind.

Top: H&M
Cardi: H&M
Linen trousers: Primark
Scarf: My work
Bracelets: Nothing and Fat Face
Necklace: The Vintage Pearl

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

As I'm not home at the weekends the days are almost always going to be done together. I'll probably end up missing out days as well because if I'm not working or going anywhere I'm not going to waste a good outfit.

Anyway, Friday was a work day, which means wearing something people can't see up when I'm stood on a chair. We don't actually have a uniform, or any rules about clothes for work, but there is a lot of climbing around on chairs and things so unless I want to flash people I have to stick to trousers, leggings, ect. I also have to wear shoes I can stand, walk around and climb in for 8 hours so that's pretty much rules out heels or little dolly shoes.

Shirt: Vans
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: Converse
Belt: Hollister

And because I don't seem to be able to go out without either a necklace or scarf on here's the jewellery as well.

Necklaces: Accessorize (I think)
Bracelets: Dorothy Perkins

Saturday I thought we might do something vaguely nice, and as I wouldn't be at work thought I might as well take the opportunity wear a dress. In the end all we did was go to Sainsburies, but at least I made an effort for it.

Cardigan: Zara
Dress: Glamorousuk.com
Belt: Topshop
Scarf: God knows
Boots: Hush Puppy Via Cloggs.co.uk

Sunday was another day at work (Oh the joys of working in retail!) so back to jeans and trainers it was.

Cardi: H&M
Top: Primark
Jeans: River Island
Scarf and Necklace: My work
(Not pictured) Converse: From a co-worker

Mint and White nails

As I haven't managed to put on anything remotely acceptable for public viewing today allow me to show you whats on my nails at the moment instead.

I used two coats of Rimmel Nail Rescue, then two coats of Rimmel Lycra Pro in Peppermint for the base. The white details are done using a Models Own nail art pen in white, and the glitter on my thumbs is Rimmel Crack Your Colour in Disco Gold. All this was finished off with two coats of a Markwins quick dry top coat that I got as part of a french manicure set for Christmas.

Right then...

Here you go Ali, a blog. Now you wont even have to see me to know what I'm wearing you can just look on here. For anyone besides my sister that might eventually read this, I plan to post what I'm wearing on the days where I make it out of PJs!
